Master Kat Tai-Dai Mau demonstrates helping a human pack.
Tai’s pro tip: This is an easy move, suitable for everyone, from novice to expert. After the initial movement of climbing into the suitcase, all you have to do is sit and stare, sinking your weight into the clothes like a lead anchor. Although climbing into an empty suitcase has some effect, it’s much better to wait until some, but not all, of the clothes are packed. Ideally, wait for a nice stack of T-shirts to go in; they are really soft and comfy to lie on. Also, don’t groom yourself or let yourself be brushed before doing this move. You want to have lots of loose hair to deposit on all the clothes so that your humans will have something to remember you by while they are away and you are stuck inside breaking in a sitter and making escape plans.”
